My BK17 bike recently broke down, but I managed to fix it by replacing components such as the display controller and the wheel hub motor. Briefly, the problem was an E10 error message on the display, the motor wouldn't start, and the 5-volt line dropped. Investigation revealed that the display had burned out and possibly the Hall sensors in the motor had failed. I've ridden the bike for 2,400 miles, so compared to the cost of a bus ride in the UK, the repair was worth it. I ride the bike to work every day.
My bk9s just simply flattens hills. I'm 75 years old and cycling is now effortless. An excellent bike with a great sales service. Absolutely recommend to anyone. Thankyou Hitway. Michael
