Can your Ebike be used on public roads? Do you have CE or EN 15194 certification?
Since the launch of HITWAY electric bicycles, we have listened to more customer demands. In a responsible attitude towards customers, our electric bicycles have cancelled the throttle and its accompanying pure electric mode. We hope that our customers can legally use electric bicycles on public roads and avoid being fined by the traffic department.
All HITWAY products have CE certification. That is, EN 15194 certification, which will be sent with your electric bicycle. If you need a pdf version of the certificate, please contact us.
Can you ship to my country?
We customize our products to meet specific regulatory requirements of different countries. If you are purchasing from the UK, the electric bike you order will comply with UK regulations (rated power of 250W, no throttle) and will be dispatched from a local warehouse. This ensures that you will not incur any customs duties.
Certain accessories may be shipped from China, with an estimated delivery time of 10-15 days.
Please note, we do not facilitate delivery of electric bikes designed for other countries, such as the US and Canadian versions, to the UK.
What payment methods do you support?

Does your Ebike come with a throttle?
Due to legal requirements in the UK regarding electric bikes, the installation of a throttle is not permitted. Therefore, HITWAY e-bike no longer comes equipped with a throttle. However, you can purchase this accessory separately from our website. Please note that we do not assume any legal liability for your purchase of this accessory.
Technical Questions
Is your E-bike waterproof?
Our E-bike is waterproof IP54, with a certain level of waterproof, it still leaves the device susceptible to damage if faced with jets of water, or temporary or continuous immersion in water. So we recommend that you try to avoid using it in the rain and dry it in time after use.
How do I setup my ebike/escooter?
Upon receiving your product, you will receive an installation guide. Additionally, you can find relevant installation videos on HITWAY's YouTube channel for further assistance
Can l add a child seat?
For electric bicycles equipped with rear racks, we support the installation of child seats. You can purchase compatible accessories from reputable sellers. Please provide details about your e-bike, such as the rear rack size, for proper adaptation.
Do I need to charge my e-bike after receiving it?
Yes, we recommend that you charge the battery for 5-6 hours after receiving the electric bike.
