Only a 4 star review because you are supposed to ignore 5 star ones in case they're fake, otherwise this would get 5 stars.
Ordered one evening after comparing to one that was actually 4 times as much and wondering if was really worth paying £1600 for a little folding e-bike, so I bought this thinking I could always try it and see before spending too much. Anyway, it arrived two days later in one of those indestructible boxes that takes a toolkit to open, which is what took most time tbh. Once out of the box it was fairly simple to turn it into the bike, no instructions but fairly obvious what's required. Came with a handy mini folding toolkit that can easily fit in a pocket. Plus a pump, very handy! Don't think I'll be leaving it anywhere with the supplied lock though, get a decent one if planning to leave it unattended for any time.
Once assembled I took it out on a spin on an easy part of the transpennine trail for about 3 hours and used the battery quite a bit to speed along on straight parts and uphill but still half the charge left, I'm after a spare in case I need it, but so far it looks like I'd only need it if going on mainly uphill routes.
All in all, great value for the price, great fun, they go pretty fast without much pedal power on number 3 setting.
Not sure I'd like to spend all day on one anyway, but for short routes they're perfect. I'm almost 6ft so probably look a bit big on it, but you soon forget about that when you're hurtling along at 15mph without even trying, took a bit of getting used to, but the brakes work very well too!
